Breakthrough: Sabotage to Shift

One of the fastest ways for you to shift is to be grateful. Either dissolve or evolve.”

Dr. Philip Agrios

The process of discovering a self-sabotaging trait which protects us, and which is successful 100% of the time at helping us make life-altering decisions for good is only one part of Dr. Philip Agrios’ program.

He was our recent returning guest and has served many more people with his unique system in the year since we’ve seen him. It is tried and true 100%. As soon as someone learns the antidote to their sabotaging trait they immediately go into a cycle of growth. It’s unavoidable.

Dr. Agrios has created seminars, internet courses and other programs so you and I may be helped by the same principles he now practices to attain optimal health, wealth, and happiness.

What he discovered was Life’s One Law

Energy is directed, supplied, and connected to us, and is acted upon from the planet. Nature uses six steps to recover from storms. We use the same six steps to heal from challenges, trauma, and health issues.

Dr. Philip Agrios

Anyone can take a quiz on Dr. Agrios’ website to learn your saboteur trait. Click here for quiz

Dr. Agrios cautions:

Read the instructions to the quiz. Answer as if you are living in old patterns, such as when you were a teen or a child.

You’re going to learn you are one of the following:

Director Saboteur:

This person is scattered. They finish 99% of something and then give up. They don’t trust themselves and enjoy chaos. In the extreme they can become hyper focused, irresponsible, and unaccountable.

Supplier Saboteur

This person gives and gives. They can’t say no. If they give to themselves they feel selfish. They are easily taken advantage of. In the extreme, they become narcissistic, then feel guilty and over-give again.

Communicator Saboteur

This person is loyal. They’d rather hold back than express themselves. They over process things, don’t want to feel stupid, so they don’t confront people. In the extreme they may say mean or unkind things.

We have superpowers too! The challenges we have in communication may be because one man’s saboteur is another man’s superpower.

This is only the tip of the iceberg. You also get a 30-minute strategy call with me to dive a little deeper, and to learn your antidote.”

Dr. Philip Agrios

There is so much more in his book. You need to get it and read it. Within two weeks you can make huge shifts in yourself, employees, and/or relationships.

That Painful, Messy Middle

Transformation is glorious, but that messy middle is painful…

Returning guest Sabine Gedeon illustrated so well the journey she has continued since her last appearance with us.

When last with us, Sabine had published her book and podcast: Transformed – The Journey to Becoming, and shared with us some of the trauma experienced in her childhood.

Born in Haiti and immigrated to the United States with parents and family. Abused physically, sexually, emotionally, etc., Sabine was silenced, taught she was unworthy and unlovable.

I carried those messages with me and became filled with constant negativity and personal criticism. These thoughts of being unworthy bombarded me.”

Sabine Gedeon

At the age of 25 Sabine felt she’d had enough.

I couldn’t take it anymore. I was turning against myself. Messages of pain had been stuffed inside. If this is life, I don’t want to be part of it.”

Sabine Gedeon

Sabine devised a plan to exit the world with a final plea to God.

I needed to know if God was real. And I needed to know if my life had a purpose.”

Sabine Gedeon

She poured out 25 years of pain with her pleas. Then she paused, and that’s when it happened…

I felt the arms of God wrap around me, and awoke the next morning determined to uncover my purpose.”

Sabine Gedeon

Sabine felt she’d been given a second chance and the opportunity to build life on her terms. She wasn’t starting over but starting anew. She began her journey of discovery.

I looked back at the young Sabine with compassion. She was worthy and lovable.”

Sabine Gedeon

Since then, Sabine has been emerging and growing intentionally every day.

Transformation is glorious, but that messy middle is painful and can create trauma all over again. I have the answers now. I can confidently say God is real, and I know the purpose of my life.

Sabine Gedeon

Twelve years after that experience, Sabine authored her book. Over a 7-day fast she was guided and encouraged to share her story on paper and finished the book in 10 days.

I’m still going through stages of emerging. In the last few years, I’ve started another process of change and transformation.”

Sabine Gedeon

She Leads Now is her new podcast which she began in 2022. She discusses with her guests their self-development and lessons learned. Sabine knows there is more that unites us than what separates us.

The skill of listening is a game changer. Listening will reveal more than observing someone.”

Sabine Gedeon

Sabine mentors women who want to leverage their leadership and be more effective in their impact. She has programs, communities, and collectives to empower women.

Healing is about getting to the root of issues for personal growth, exposing the truths of your heart, and gaining compassion for ourselves.”

Sabine Gedeon

Decluttering the 5 Pillars of Life

A new year can be the perfect time to think about decluttering your life. Our guest, Kitti Andrews helps her clients begin their journey of clearing the clutter and calming the chaos any time of year.

“We often think decluttering in the sense of house cleaning, however there is more clutter in our lives than simply what’s in our homes.”

Kitti Andrews

Kitti explained how her decluttering system focuses on 5 Pillars of Life:

Home – belongings

Health -diet

Habits- time management

Heart -relationships

Head – brain and thoughts

Kitti helps people get their surroundings under control with her Step by step ONE System.

“The key is to choose just ONE of the 5 Pillars to begin with. Addressing all the Pillars at once is in itself, clutter.”

Kitti Andrews

Ask yourself “Why would I want to declutter……..?”

For instance, if the Pillar you’ve chosen is HEALTH, your WHY to declutter may be, “I can barely make it up the stairs without gasping for breath.” OR “I can no longer wear my favorite jeans.”

Continuing with the example of decluttering your HEALTH, and knowing your WHY to lose 20 pounds, then break down the outcome into small steps.

  1. Get rid of all the obvious junk food
  2. Get rid of the foods which make you feel bloated, tired, or simply don’t serve you well.
  3. Fill your refrigerator and pantry with healthier foods

These same steps could be put into play no matter which Pillar you’ve chosen.

For instance, if you’ve decided to begin with the HABITS PILLAR and time management is your target goal, break your outcome into small steps such as the following…

  1. Clear your schedule of the most obvious unnecessary time-consuming activities.
  2. Clear your schedule of the activities which don’t have a direct impact on your income, relationships, or personal enjoyment.
  3. Fill your schedule with purposeful and prioritized activities so at the end of the day you feel as productive as possible.

“Keep moving forward. Small consistent steps over time will have a tremendous impact on your life.”

Kitti Andrews

Make a decision on ONE goal using Kitti’s ONE System:

ONE room

ONE area

ONE thing

Again, this works with any of the Pillars you choose.

“One of my early clients had a large L shape desk covered in six inches of stacked papers. She began with a stack of papers closest to the place where she sat at her desk. She worked only on that stack until it was gone.

In 7-8 minutes my client was flying through all those stacks, noticing things like bank statements she didn’t need to have copies of. She realized she’d been holding on to outdated magazines.

Soon her desk was clear. And, she cancelled the subscriptions on those magazines to keep the clutter from coming back!”

Kitti Andrews

Having someone to be accountable to can also be helpful.

“Focus on getting the RIGHT things done. What’s your carrot? Reward yourself when you meet your goals.”

Kitti Andrews

Kitti offers a free downloadable worksheet on her website: 7 Easy Steps to Conquer your Mental and Physical Clutter.

Follow the steps in order and you’ll find decluttering is easier than you ever thought it could be.

Book a quick call with Kitti to begin your own journey of decluttering your entire life.

We are Not Fighting Alone

Our first Life Mastery Radio episode of 2023 featured the producer of a new compilation book titled Developed Thru Darkness The Difference Between Being Planted and Being Buried and three additional authors of the book…including me (Jackie Bailey).

Orrick Quick, Sr.; Cynthia James-Jones; Karissa Donovan; Jackie Bailey

Orrick Quick, Sr.

When asked the reason for producing a book like this with 20 authors, Orrick shared an illustrative, personal story about when his young daughter went through a phase of having regular nightmares.

One night when he heard his daughter screaming in horror while still asleep, Orrick pleaded in prayer for a way to comfort his daughter.

Contrary to what our natural reaction might be – to wake our child up from a nightmare, God whispered to Orrick a different answer:

Don’t wake her up. The enemy in her dream has convinced her she’s fighting alone. Instead of taking her out of the fight, empower her IN the fight.

While his daughter continued to cry in her sleep, Orrick whispered in her ear, “Daddy is here, mommy is here, and Jesus is here. You don’t have to fight by yourself.”

His daughter never woke up and yet stopped crying.

We are often convinced we are fighting alone.”

Orrick Quick, Sr.

Orrick feels we can whisper to others in their pain and fear “…you are not alone in this fight”. That is the purpose of Developed Thru Darkness.

“It’s a blessing and a huge accomplishment to be able to put thoughts on paper and give them away so others can be enlightened and empowered.”

Orrick Quick, Sr.

Orrick himself has been in dark places throughout his life – even when not yet born. His mother was diagnosed with Lupus while pregnant with him.

Despite the warning from her doctor saying her son would be born with horrible health problems or unable to live at all, his mother had Oak Tree Faith to see that Orrick would be given a chance at life.

It’s particularly moving to learn Orrick’s mother died when Orrick was only 15 years old, and that Orrick held her in his arms while she took her final breath.

Orrick’s mother had held on to faith for her unborn son, and that same son held onto his mother in her last minutes.

“When you find yourself in a dark place, it’s difficult to know if you’re being planted or being buried. This book is to teach people they can make it out of their dark place one day at a time.”

Orrick Quick, Sr.

Cynthia James-Jones is one of the authors in Developed Thru Darkness who joined us for this episode.

“I was born to battle but didn’t know how to use the tools I’d been given.”

Cynthia James

The opportunity to be part of this book gave Cynthia a chance to write her story on paper for the very first time. Her story is one of brutal abuse and evil. When she thought she’d found light with which to escape the darkness of her youth by becoming a Wiccan Witch, Cynthia only witnessed more evil.

“The enemy got his foothold on my life, but I, with resilient toughness and grit, found my amazing gifts. Now I help youth do the same.”

Cynthia James

Karissa Donovan is an additional author who joined us for the show. The trauma of her childhood has had lasting effects for her physically.

“Trauma has a tremendous impact on our overall health. Trauma is stress, and stress is the number one cause of our dis-ease.”

Karissa Donovan

Karissa is now a Holistic Health Practitioner. The opportunity to be part of Developed Thru Darkness has helped her heal. In fact, Karissa had buried her own feelings related to the abuse when she was young. To create her chapter she had to revisit all her emotions.

Besides my own chapter in Developed Thru Darkness titled, Happily, Even After, two of my young students Uma (11) and Aashvi (12) are also contributing authors in this newly published book.

It’s such a joy that all these authors are connecting with others and lighting their unlit candle with their own flame.

Get your copy of Developed Thru Darkness produced by Orrick Quick, Sr. as well as his other book Your Reign is Over.

Orrick will soon be publishing another compilation book Pink is my Favorite Color Embracing the Battle.

Living Incredibly Full

Martin Salama, the architect of The Warriors L.I.F.E. Code was our guest on Tuesday.

You might connect most with L.I.F.E as

Love

Intensely

Fiercely

Effortlessly

Or you may connect most with L.I.F.E. as

Luck is

Innovated

From

Experience

For Martin, L.I.F.E. has taken a lifetime to discover as…

Live

Incredibly

Full

Every day

When Martin was 10 years old his 5 year-old brother, Michael was killed accidently by a school bus driver. This had tremendous impact on Martin.

With 4 older sisters, Martin felt the role to continue the family legacy was his alone.

“I became a people pleaser, a control freak, and had serious anger issues. Although it took me 40 years to realize what that all meant.”

Martin Salama

After leaving the corporate world, Martin and his wife began developing and designing a 100,000 sf, 15 million dollar athletic center, health club, and spa in New Jersey.

Before it could be built in 2008, the bank stopped lending. Martin and his wife lost their entire investment, their home, and cars.

“It took me about a year to pick myself up and start wondering what to do. I had rationalized everything in my life.”

Martin Salama

Rational Lies: Doing things that go against what you believe.

Martin’s wife divorced him, and he set out to fix himself. Soon he became a life coach while living true to his L.I.F.E. acronym  –  Living Incredibly Full Every day.

“Coaches should be coached. It was the greatest money I ever spent.”

Martin Salama

Martin has created The Warrior’s L.I.F.E. Code Card Deck to coordinate with his coaching programs.

Card #1 Admission Cleansing and Celebration

“It teaches you to admit there is something wrong in your life and that you need to make a change. Cleansing takes you to the next steps to make the changes. And then we learn the need to celebrate the little victories along the way.”

Martin Salama

Card #23 provides yet another acronym for L.I.F.E.

Listen to inner voice and address your feelings

Identify what those feelings are

Find out why the feeling

Engage, change, and take action

Card #30: Self Aware Versus Self Conscious

Self-consciousness comes from a place of negative energy such as guilt and conflict. It is always outwardly directed.

Self-awareness comes from a place of positive energy such as contentment and self-assuredness. It is always inwardly facing.

Martin will be publishing a book called The Warriors L.I.F.E. Code due out in January.

“The messages in the book will take the cards to the next level. There are success activities to download and stories from my life and clients’ lives.”

Martin Salama

Go to ConnectWithMartin.com and gain access to the first three chapters of his upcoming book AND get The Warrior’s L.I.F.E. Code Card Deck.

Consider how these mantra’s will support your desire to live incredibly full every day:

I am open and ready to be positive

I deserve to be happy

I stand up for what I believe

Today is going to be a great day

Challenges in life have prepared me for anything. That’s why The Warriors L.I.F.E. Code was created.”

Reality Intervention

Our recent returning guest, Shiraz Baboo uses Energetic Magic to help people rewrite their reality. He has transformational coaching programs for groups and individuals and allows them to shift their belief and story in the moment.

SHIRAZ TEACHES:

A belief is something that just is, such as the sky is blue.

A story is something we tell ourselves over and over again, such as that’s the story of my life; this always happens to me; or no one listens to me.

A STORY MAY FEEL LIKE REALITY, BUT WE CREATE AND CONTROL IT.

Before writing his book, How to Rewrite Reality – Becoming the Author of the Stories in your Life Shiraz learned first hand how he’d been writing his story.

I was learning bio energetics; I was a body builder; and all of a sudden one morning I woke up with arthritis.”

Shiraz Baboo

Shiraz had pain in every joint of his body. Some days he had to sip his meals through a straw because his jaw was so swollen and painful. He spent nights lying in agony. He tried to lead a normal life, but there was always constant pain.

Shiraz tried nutritional changes, medication, supplements, and acupuncture. Everything would work for a little while, then not work at all.

Why were things only temporary?

After 20 years Shiraz looked for any treatments he hadn’t yet tried. His father mentioned a program in India, and away he went.

Shiraz found a man in India who simply asked him questions about his life for two weeks. Being in India, Shiraz expected reiki or some form of hands-on healing. That’s not what he got.

Then came the diagnosis from the Indian guru:

UNCONSCIOUSLY, YOU BELIEVE YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYONE IN YOUR LIFE. YOU’VE CREATED THIS BELIEF.

Shiraz wondered, what does that have to do with arthritis?

The guru continued,

IT’S TOO MUCH WORK TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYONE. YOU FOUND A SOLUTION. IF YOU’RE IN BED AND IN PAIN YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYONE, AND YOU DON’T HAVE TO FEEL GUILTY. IT’S A SOLUTION FOR A PROBLEM YOU DON’T KNOW YOU HAVE.

That’s messed up! Shiraz thought. If that’s true, all I have to do is say I’m not responsible for anyone but me and I should be healed.

The guru told Shiraz that he had to believe a new story.

Miraculously, the next morning, Shiraz woke up without pain, with no inflammation, and with more mobility than he’d had in years.

I’m freaking out!

Shiraz

Shiraz had a complete shift in consciousness:

What you think is a problem, is typically the solution. If you’ve got a consistent or reoccurring problem in your life, it’s the solution. Most people don’t get that, and they can’t fix it.”

Shiraz Baboo

For Shiraz, the solution to the story he was creating for himself was arthritis.

This is not just about illness, it’s why some people don’t have relationships, money, or a successful career. The lack of those things is actually the solution to something else.”

Shiraz Baboo

Shiraz and his popular programs can help you rewrite your reality using his Energetic Magic.

It’s all about energy. Your beliefs are energy. The stories you tell are energy. When you shift your energy, you shift your story. Your reality shifts like magic. It’s incredibly simple, but it’s not easy.”

Shiraz Baboo

The universe works on resistance. The less resistance you have to outcomes the more the universe flows. When you’re trying to create something, you must be willing to have the best possible outcome.

Perhaps it’s time for you to consider your stories. Are they working for you or against you? Shiraz has Monthly Magic programs for his clients, and this New Years Eve, he is hosting an event to rid people of the crap experienced in 2022, and set themselves up for more successful stories in 2023.

Be Intrepid at Controlling your Thoughts

Our recent guest, Raja Vaidya shared a story about the importance of controlling our thoughts.

His own mother, who was raised in poverty, has struggled to overcome a scarcity mindset. When she had a knee replacement, an infection formed. Because she expected problems, her mind created them.

Raja discovered the distress his mother was in one day and had her rushed to the hospital. She was within hours of becoming septic. Although the infection was controlled and she eventually returned home, it took his mother a year to walk again.

After finding a different doctor who performed a double knee replacement surgery; and while having Raja close by to keep her thinking positively, his mother was up and walking in two weeks.

Raja now practices what he preaches about mindset, but it hasn’t always been that way.

A stutterer from birth, Raja has spent his entire life overcoming this challenge. He was a transplant to a new school when young and soon discovered:

“I was the only Indian kid in a sea of white kids.”

Raja saw the movie, The Karate Kid. He then knew he wanted to take Karate. He hoped it would stop the constant bullying from schoolmates and help him confidently believe in himself.

By the age of 16, Raja was a Karate world champion. At 18, an Olympic qualifier. Today, Raja is a six-degree blackbelt and claims multiple inductions into the blackbelt hall of fame.

His career led him to research and development as a cancer scientist making multibillion dollar drugs. Science, karate, and music (he’s an opera singer and pianist) make Raja a triple threat against fear and negative thinking.

We must break out of the box we are comfortable in and experience rebirth. Our greatest success lies on the outside of that box.”

Raja Vaidya

Besides shaping  young minds as a karate instructor, Raja has spent most of 2022 speaking to groups large and small sharing his inspiring stories.

I have facilitated 140 interviews in 123 days with a speech impediment.”

Raja Vaidya

Besides hosting his own podcast, he has been a guest on other podcasts  – like Life Mastery Radio with Todd & Jackie!

You don’t have to be perfect to move forward. Done is better than perfect. Be Intrepid, which is not complete fearlessness; it’s simply not worrying about what others may think of you.”

Raja Vaidya

R Rise

Raja introduced us the to the word Apocryphon. It means knowledge which cannot be learned.

It’s when you have to DO it to LEARN it.”

That’s an applicable definition and description of Raja’s transformative story. Even after a 2015 head on crash where he sustained head injuries on top of his stutter, Raja has been unstoppable. That is his advice to us.

You have to believe in something new about yourself. Take action and get traction. Be uncomfortable and push yourself obsessively. Along the way on your journey to success expect a lot of obstacles.”

Transform Through Voice

I immediately connected with our guest this week. Eliana Gilad has a mission to help people tap into the source of their voice and to transform powerfully through words, tones, and songs.

“I came out of the womb very vocal, and I lived in the era of children are seen, not heard.

Eliana Gilad

Eliana is a former CBS broadcaster who left the United States for France in 1991.

At a meeting one night which included a potluck, Eliana “sang for her supper” (so to speak). Since she hadn’t been able to contribute to the meal, Eliana began to sing aloud a song from her childhood.

Afterward, a man at the meeting said to Eliana, “your voice speaks, and you have work to do with your voice.”

The man suggested Eliana go to the train station and sing. She had no intention to busk for money. However, Eliana courageously made eye contact with every rider on the train as she filled the cars with her melodic voice.

Do something for others,” Eliana said to the passengers.

“They pushed money into my hands. I knew my voice made a difference.”

Eliana Gilad

Eliana rode 12 trains a day for an entire year.

“It wasn’t about the music. It was about connecting with my inner voice and following it’s guidance. Music was just the tool.”

Eliana Gilad

Singing on the trains helped Eliana to realize her role was to use media for constructive purposes. That includes sharing her many stories.

In 2012 while delivering her first TED talk titled Your Voice, Make It Heard, Eliana’s worst fear was manifested.

“I blacked out during my presentation. I was going to be humiliated in public. But I heard a voice say now would be a good time to practice what you teach.”

Eliana Gilad

Eliana instructs people like you and me to connect to the source of our power. Our voice is a bridge between our inner truth and our outer expression.

“Your worst fears can become your greatest gift. Say yes. Especially when things don’t make sense. That is our opportunity today.”

Eliana Gilad

Eliana’s wordless healing sound modality helps people find their authentic voice and connect to their inner calm in the midst of change. It has been clinically researched in a neonatal intensive care unit, where it was proven to lower blood pressure and heart rate, increase focus, and improve the quality of sleep.

Her new international bestseller Emerge Triumphant – Thrive through Uncertainty helps readers understand that when they give their inner voice the ability and power to shine, limiting barriers can be broken, and people can become their own leaders, opening themselves up to a world of new possibilities.

Her book is a workbook to help the reader connect with their inner wisdom, gain clarity, feel at ease, and receive answers.

It’s not a cognitive work.”

Within the pages of Eliana’s book, you’ll learn so much about yourself as Eliana brings forth ancient wisdom and inspiration passed down through time from the prophetess Miriam, Moses’ elder sister.

A Myth Made Manifest

Our recent guest, Seana Zelazo, discovered an ancient civilization and an ancient goddess who teaches us in our day how to harness our energy and amplify our life’s purpose.

Over 4000 years ago in ancient Sumer, some of the first mythographers inscribed the stories and myths of the Goddess Inanna on clay tablets in cuneiform. These incredible findings were unearthed, and the fragments were painstakingly pieced together and translated.

In Seana’s book The Way of Inanna: A Heroine’s Guide to Living Unapologetically the stories of Inanna come to life and teach us to claim our own power.

WHO IS INANNA?

According to Seana, Inanna is the Sumerian Goddess of Love and War; The Morning and Evening Star; The Goddess of Thunderstorms and Rain; The Goddess of Heaven and Earth.

The myth of Inanna claims the earliest record of ascension, even preceding Jesus Christ’s ascension. The clay record was discovered in the “Fertile Crescent” which, according to National Geographic is…

named for its rich soils and often called the “cradle of civilization,” is found in the Middle East. The earliest civilizations were established there, including the Sumerians. Its area covers what are now southern Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Israel, Egypt, and parts of Turkey and Iran.

National Geographic

Inanna’s teachings emphasize humanity as a doorway to our divinity and illustrates Inanna as a role model of how we can evolve to our highest spiritual plane – unconditional love.

It’s a path of your own heart. Come back into your own heart and find your way. Bring about transformation without, by beginning within.”

Seana Zelazo

At the age of 19 Seana’s mother died by suicide. A week later, Seana survived a sexual assault. Despite her one-two punch of trauma, Seana could see the negative effects of holding onto wounds of disempowerment as her mother had.

Seana birthed a deep desire to connect with, and stand in, her own feminine power.

The Goddess Inanna descended into the underworld and death. She found seven gates of initiatory. Through rituals of purification and release, Inanna ascended from disempowerment to being empowered.”

Seana Zelazo

Because of her mother’s death and the trauma from the assault she endured, Seana could see her heart and sacral chakra were the wounded centers she needed to heal. The Way of Inanna helped her to do so.

Inanna’s ascension helped Seana bring about her own internal healing through what she called WOMB WISDOM.

By emphasizing the collective healing of the second chakra and being reminded we are all creators, I learned from Inanna to create with intention and responsibility; and to cultivate a place of love every day.”

Seana Zelazo

Each chapter of Seana’s book focuses on one of the seven gates. Coincidentally, each gate is connected to one of the seven chakras. There are rituals and/or meditations at the end of each chapter.

Everything that shows up in your life supports your spiritual evolution. My book will help you harmonize the instrument of your own being, allow yourself to be you, and teach you to live unapologetically.”

Seana Zelazo

Seana would say our healing journey is a simple shift in consciousness. We have to honor our own process and access our power. Then, we will gain even more power when we empower others.

Our downfall happens when we misuse our power.”

Would you like to become your own therapist? Your own healer? Speak your healing into being?

Seana says her book is for anyone who is ready to move into a higher level of consciousness and reclaim their own power.

Give yourself permission to evolve. Use your third eye to honor your truth. Give permission for others to do the same.

Be Relentless

Joe Moghaizel was our most recent guest. He has a diverse background in sales, nonprofits, and authoring a bestselling book titled Be a Success Maverick Volume 4.

Joe lost his father when he was 20 years old

For his father’s birthday Joe sent him back to his native Lebanon where the long flight caused Joe’s dad to form a blood clot. His father passed away of a heart attack.

Despite the emotional turmoil, Joe can look back and see the blessings that came out of the tragedy of losing his father.

Negativity is all around us, and we’ll find more of it if that’s what we’re looking for. I find it to be one of the biggest sources of strength in my life because it taught me to have a unique perspective.”

Joe Mogaizel

Joe is known as Mr. AllWaysGood because he has a reputation for being able to always see good AND to see it in ALL WAYS.

He uses the metaphor of mountain climbing to inspire us to understand the journey of life.

Every time you reach a summit in your journey, you see from that vantage point all the other surrounding mountains you’d like to climb.

To summit another peak, you must first climb down the mountain you’re on to get to the starting point of the next one. We can’t start halfway up.”

Joe Moghaizel

Joe reminds us of each time we journey down one mountain, we are preparing ourselves for the next upward climb.

Take every opportunity you can to learn and see each trial as a moment to be taught.”

Joe Moghaizel

When it comes to finding our purpose, Joe suggests we try as many things as possible, and to put all our energy into it.

If you find it doesn’t feed your soul, keep searching. Your why only needs to motivate you, not anyone else.”

Joe Moghaizel

Joe works with small business owners and nonprofits to help them understand sales and embrace principles of “the ask.”

Every human being on the planet is in sales. You are always selling something. We have opportunity to leave a real legacy with a nonprofit.”

Joe Moghaizel

If you’re like me (and many others) you may get an icky feeling when you think of the typical “sales man”.

Joe has his own definition of a professional salesperson.

A professional salesperson is motivated by helping the customer to make a decision. If what you have is not the right solution for the customer, the professional salesperson will understand they are not the person to help.”

Give without the expectation of getting. That’s what marketing is all about. Give, feed, teach, share.

What I’m really going to do for my customer is  help them heal some deep core wounds around not being worthy, fear of rejection, or about thinking they are not good enough. I’m going to change that for them so they can change their life and help more people change theirs.”

Joe Moghaizel

Relentless in the title of the chapter in his book.

The Universe does not give in to quitters. It is going to test your commitment before it provides rewards.”

Joe Moghaizel

Verbally speaking your goals and desires is a way to put it out to the universe.

Success is defined as being happy with who you are and what you’re doing.”
